We are Hemiola — a vocal ensemble established in 2023 by former members of The Choir of Royal Holloway, united by a shared commitment to high-quality ensemble singing. Since forming, we have continued to develop our artistic identity beyond university, taking our music to new audiences across the UK.

Hemiola specialises in contemporary and newly composed choral repertoire, complemented by thoughtful performances of well-loved choral classics. Typically a group of 8-10 singers, Hemiola draws on a broad network of exceptional young vocal talent from across the country. Our aim is to deliver engaging, expressive, and distinctive choral performances for audiences and collaborators alike.
